Comments from a Chicagotix.com visitor:  "Great site and I am glad you've got some Jack Brickhouse material up with it. Jack was one of my best friends and my son Jack is named after him...I was an honorary pallbearer at his funeral.  A wonderful, wonderful man. Thanks for keeping his memory alive. -- Hey Hey and Watch it, watch it now.....Oh Brother!"
Best, Dan Ronan of WFAA TV / Dallas

Cubs Pocket Schedule 1950-present Collection
Full run of team issued pocket schedules present a snapshot not only of what happened on the field but what happened in society as a whole. Two interesting illustrations of this point are seen in the evolution of schedule advertising and team promotional events. Advertising in the 1950s included men’s hat companies and Sunkist Lemonade. By the 1990s cell phone and beer companies would dominate. Cubs introduced special promo games in the 1953 schedule with “Ladies Day” which offered “a comfortable, reserved box seat for only $1.” Times change; by 2000 there were 36 different promo games.
